About this Website

The internet contains a huge amount of information on a multitude of topics, but when searching the public domain, it is difficult to find a detailed, approachable overview of plastics colouration in one place. The goal of this website is to achieve this. I am not currently affiliated with any colour manufacturer, so I don’t need to introduce a bias towards their products. My aim is to develop it into a general online reference for colouring plastics. The intended audience is colour formulators, plastic converters, applied science students, and people who simply want to know how plastics are coloured.

I have tried to cloak this somewhat dry and serious topic in a colourful, frivolous, retro theme. The original illustrations were created in vector format to make them faster loading and fully scalable. Due to my limited web design skills, these proved difficult to handle, so for now, all pictures are in bitmap format.

This page is intended for comments about the main part of the website. The blog topics are open ended and each of those includes its own comment section. If you are involved in this industry, you are welcome to expand on something that I have not covered in sufficient detail. Contact me and I will be happy to set up a new blog topic for you.
